Mud Fest, Spring 09

Welcome to Mud Fest 2009.
I was invited by my boyfriend at the time(who has now rightfully earned the nickname jerkface) to this thrilling event. I love trucks, and the bigger, louder, and dirtier the better, so this was definitely something I wanted to be at, camera in hand of course. Every Spring, all of Granville gather at one of two houses and watch daring souls drive their mud-thirsty vehicles through the endless amount of deep, thick, heavy, mud. They ran their trucks untill they couldn’t run anymore. I remember seeing trucks drive though, each time their motors getting louder and louder until they blew. Trucks would get stuck, and they’d help pull each other out. It’s also a very family friendly event. Kids of all ages were there with their parents, watching them, until sundown-when it started to get cold. I made some friends, and saw some old faces, had a beer or two, and took some great pictures. All in all, it was a great day. Enjoy!

I think I know which one you are talking about. Are you talking about the one that looked brand new compared to the others? I don’t remember the bow tie, but I do have some pics of a black chevy.
